Especially to recognice the value and beauty of all billfish, angler have the option of catch and release.
If you catch a black marlin or a sailfish under min. length, or if you wish to release all billfish , take a photo in close range (1-3 meters ) with your own ditial camera ink. time and date and then release the fish unharmend.
You have to bring your digital camera with the empty mermory card to the registration and there we will mark it.
Please do not use gaff on billfish if you want to release the fish.

All billfish hook-ups should be reported to the next tournament boat in reach of your radio , along with the name of the boat, the team and the fish species.
Teams are requested to seperate the haviest fish of all eligible species for individual weight in, if they belive the fish is eligible for a species trophy.
The catch of any lady angler, and the catch for any junior angler must be bagged seperately, and the weigh master notified.
All other team fish will be bagged and weighed on masse.
Team captains should note the anglers responsible for haviest fish of a eligible species on a daily catch report and also note the fish credited to junior or lady anglers.
In the event of a tie, of anf sepcies trophy, the fish first weighed in will win.
Sharks do not count in this competition and should not be harmed.
